Rabbit Cost Calculator
Pick a household. The total stays blank until each price has a source. The cost guide is on the editorial list and is not published yet.
How a total would be added up
One-time lines are counted once. Monthly lines are multiplied by 12. The region control picks the low, average, or high column, then applies ×0.85, ×1, or ×1.25. A line marked per rabbit is multiplied by the count. A housing line is not, unless a source says the price is per rabbit.
The 10-year multiplier is the midpoint of 8–12 indoor years from House Rabbit Society, checked 2026-10-21. It is not a prediction for one rabbit. Figures reviewed 2026-10-21.
Questions
- Why is there no dollar total?
- Every price line needs a source URL and the date it was checked. The data file has no priced lines. A total without those lines would be an invented number.
- What will the total include when prices exist?
- The first year is the one-time setup plus one year of ongoing costs. Later years are the ongoing costs only. Lifetime is the one-time setup plus the ongoing year cost times 10, the midpoint of the House Rabbit Society indoor range of 8–12 years. The first year is not added again on top of that.
- Where are the Amazon links?
- This tool does not list products. Amazon.com links elsewhere on the site, when they exist, use the tag bunnyatlas-20.
